P621. Health care consumption and treatment of ulcerative colitis in Stockholm County

respectively. The aim of the present study was to further investigate the health care consumption and treatment of ulcerative colitis in the capital region of Stockholm.

Conclusion

Patients with a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, ICD10 codes K51X, with any contact with the health care system between 1 July 2010 and 31 December 2012 were identified through a search in the Stockholm County Council data warehouse VAL (Vårdanalys-databasen; Stockholm regional health care data warehouse). Data regarding outpatient visits in primary and specialist care, hospitalisations, prescribed medication and medications given at hospital were retrieved from the data warehouse.
