1 Students/PhD Students registering at the Affiliate Member Congress fee must upload a certificate of their Student/PhD Student status during the registration process. The Y-ECCO Membership apply for young medical doctors when the Affiliate Membership is open to a holder of a post-graduate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with the field of IBD (e.g.: dietitian, pharmacist, psychologist) who is not an industry representative. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
2 Nurses registering at the Nurse Non-Member Congress fee must upload a certificate of their current nurse status and registration number during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
3 Students/PhD Students and delegates holder of post-graduate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with field of IBD (e.g.: dietician, pharmacist, psychologist) may register for the Affiliate Non-Member Congress fee. All delegates registering at this fee must upload a certificate of their professional status/Student or PhD Student status during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed.
4 Patient Advocates registering at this fee must upload a proof of their membership of a Patient Advocate Association during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed. Please note that you might not have access to industry sponsored satellite symposia.
5 All exhibitors (industry representatives) will be charged an exhibitor congress fee giving them access to the virtual exhibition hall, industry sponsored satellite symposia, congress abstracts and certificate of attendance.

ECCO'21 Virtual Congress Registration will be open until Saturday July 10, 2021. We highly recommend that you register on our website only!
ECCO Membership (paid membership fee 2021) is a pre-requisite for a majority of the offered educational activities (exception: Advanced ECCO: EduCational COurse for Industry). To become an ECCO Member or to renew your ECCO Membership for 2021, please click here.
The number of participants for some educational activity is limited. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
How to buy e-Vouchers for a group:
1 - You need to have an ECCO Account. You can create a new account, or retrieve the log in details of your current account directly through the ECCO Portal.
3- You need to make sure to enter the correct invoice details during the registration process and indicate the correct VAT No. or Tax ID. If you require any changes to the invoice after it has already been issued, it will result in an administrative fee of 5% of the total invoice amount.
4- Group coordinators can buy e-Vouchers for members/non-members/exhibitors (1 to 250 within one registration / no upload of certificates required / selection of 3 fee alternatives).
5- A group confirmation and its corresponding invoice(s) are sent to the group coordinator after the group registration is complete. Your invoice(s) will also be available under the respective registration on the ECCO Portal. If a registration deadline has passed before we receive your payment, the next applicable registration fee shall automatically apply and a new invoice will be issued.
6- You need to provide the e-voucher codes to your delegates and invite them to activate their e-Voucher in the ECCO Portal by clicking on “Congress Registration” and “Activate e-Voucher”. Your delegates will appear on your final registration list. You will be able to download your registration overview in excel format.
Voucher codes are unique and will reflect the registration fee purchased. For instance, a non-member cannot use a member’s voucher code. A non-member voucher can be used for a member.
7- Each delegate needs their own ECCO Account so they can activate their e-Voucher under the registration button and to then access the congress virtual platform in due course. Once a delegate activates their e-Voucher code, a registration confirmation is sent directly to this delegate.
8- Any Educational Courses on behalf of your delegates can be added to your registration directly under the respective delegate (who needs to be an ECCO Member) and needs to already have activated their e-voucher. Button: Add Educational Courses.
9- Track/edit your group registration in the ECCO Portal. Group coordinators can download an excel file of their group registration overview showing all the e-Vouchers codes. Group coordinators need to make sure that all their delegates have activated their e-Vouchers by June 16, 2021 and that the registrations are fully paid. The full name of a delegate will show in the registration, once they activate their e-Voucher.
10- A cancelled registration can be allocated to another delegate at the same registration fee, free of charge until June 9, 2021 (name change). Button: Remove & Change e-Voucher, afterwards the e-Voucher code can be sent to another delegate.
11- Any incomplete e-Voucher after this date will be cancelled with no refunds. Agency/Sponsor contact details and email addresses as registration data for delegates cannot be accepted.

Please read carefully the TERMS OF CANCELLATION:
A cancelled registration can be taken over by another participant (name change) free of charge until June 9, 2021.
In case you do not want to transfer your registration to another participant, the following fees apply:
- cancellation by May 12, 2021 a refund of 50% of your registration fee is granted.
- cancellation after May 12, 2021 no refund can be granted.
This not foreseen for ECCO'21 Virtual Congress. The registration is not set up for this scenario, delegates must use their unique login details to watch their registered courses and sessions and claim their Certificate of Attendance and CME Credits accordingly.
According to Italian legislation, any Marketing Authorisation Holder or pharmaceutical company responsible for the commercialisation of a drug, which organises or helps to organise, whether by direct or indirect funding in Italy or abroad, a congress, or a meeting on topics in any way related to the use of medicine, shall notify the responsible Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) at least 60 days before the date of the event to ensure that these adhere to strict technical criteria and intend to provide further knowledge in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, physiology pathology and clinical medicine.

ECCO reserves the right to retain the entire registration fee in the event that ECCO Congress cannot be held or must be moved or changed due to “Force Majeure" meaning an event beyond the reasonable control of ECCO, which prevents ECCO from complying with any of its obligations, including but not limited to pandemic or epidemic situation and other major risk.
If the IT suppliers and utility providers are prevented from making the congress available online to the delegate or if the organiser cannot organise the congress in the event of war, mobilisation, disasters, severe weather conditions, strikes, lock-outs, governmental lock-down in Austria, fire, official prescriptions, explosions, acts of terrorism or other circumstances of force majeure outside the organiser´s control or influence, irrespective of when it occurs, then the organiser cannot be held liable by the delegate. The organisers are acting as agents.
The delegate acknowledges that they have no right to sue the organisers for damages should the Congress not be held or postponed for unexpected political, economic reasons and "Force Majeure".
If you are not able to attend the congress, recorded webcasts of the scientific programme and all educational courses will be available in the ECCO Portal on demand until end of October 2021.
ECCO shall not be liable for disruptions in data transmission caused by technical errors or configuration problems on the delegate’s side.
It is the duty of the delegate to ensure that he has an ECCO Account, checked his login details in the ECCO Portal before the start of the ECCO Virtual Congress.
A delegate at the ECCO Virtual Congress can choose to share personal information as well as personal opinion in public debates with the other delegates. The content of all postings and the contribution to public debates is solely the responsibility of the delegate who chooses to actively share information. The congress organiser cannot be held liable for this posted content, while the Congress organiser reserves the right to edit, rectify or delete postings of delegates for good faith or legal reason.
Only written arrangements are binding. With your registration you authorise the organiser to use all registration data given in the registration form for the computerised handling of the congress and further communication with all respective suppliers.
Austrian law shall apply and place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
