Airport information

At the moment, there are 2 airports in Berlin, Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Berlin Schönefeld (SXF). Airport Public Transport Service

Berlin Tegel Airport:
Tegel is connected with buses to the main train lines in Berlin. There are several options:
Bus TXL: Brings you into the city or to the main train station within 25-35 minutes, it runs every 6-10 depending on the time. Price for a single ticket costs EUR 2,80 and his valid for 2 hours.

Bus 109: If you are going directly to the CityCube, you can take the bus 109 and then a metro (S9). It takes about 35mn and costs EUR 2,80.

Berlin Schönefeld Airport:
Schönefeld is connected with the metro and also regional train. There are several options:
Metro S9: You can take the S9 metro directly to the city center (40mn) or directly to the CityCube (1h10). Single ticket costs 3€20.
Regional train: You can take the regional train directly to the city center (30mn). Single ticket costs 3€20.

Public transportation

Public transportation is by far the easiest way to get around the city. The subway, tram cars and buses in Berlin are quick, cheap, safe and easy.

Taxi service is available everywhere in the city. Berlin only has official taxis, which are clearly marked and work with a meter system.
